Happy to host these school kids the day before spring break! As you can see we still have a TON of snow! Hope you can make it out over the weekend and for our open days over spring break!!
With our natural snow cover and snowmaking, we have all runs and two lifts (t-bar and rope tow) open for downhill skiing, Third t-bar opens when we are busy. The terrain park and mini-terrain park for our younger skiers are in good condition, as is the tubing run. Still lots of snow and great spring skiing conditions, even on areas with no snowmaking.
Trails were groomed Friday March 10 . Skier report from Thursday aftenoon March 21: We continue to have good spring cross country conditions. We skied in the early afternoon today (Thursday), temp was about 6c, trails beginning to soften. No bare areas and still a lot of snow, knee high in the trees when we walked off the track. Skate skiing probably would have been best around 11 am. With temperatures predicted to stay in the single digits out here, we are expecting a good weekend of skiing and into spring break!
We will be opening on December 15 and we are looking forward to your visit. Come and enjoy the holiday season at Tawatinaw Valley!
