Downhill Runs

With our natural snow cover and snowmaking, we will have about 2/3 of the hill open for downhill skiing this weekend.

Cross Country Trails

Cross country trail update- on Wednesday Dec 12 our trails were re-groomed and are in good shape for both classic and skate. Skiers this afternoon report the skate track is packed, fast and not icey. Should be a nice weekend for a ski and a hot chocolate in the chalet after!

About Us

45 minutes north of St. Albert, just off Highway 2, the scenic Tawatinaw Valley offers a variety of recreation opportunities . With our nordic trails and downhill runs for every experience level, the ski resort is a hidden gem. From the quiet lift lines, to the challenging terrain park and fun tubing area, we offer a great  place for families to gather.

A fresh start

Opening under new management by the not-for-profit Tawatinaw Valley Ski Club,  Tawatinaw Valley promotes safe and healthy recreation for all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide quality facilities and terrain, good customer experiences, fun programming and learning opportunities

A four season future...

Future planning includes expansion into four season activities, with our chalet hosting year round activities and events. From its’ start as a Centennial Project in 1967, we have enjoyed 50 years of service to skiers.  We are looking forward to many more years of offering healthy outdoor activity to our residents and visitors.
