Tawatinaw Valley has friendly instructors that are CASI/CSIA certified that can provide both skiing and snowboarding lessons.
Tawatinaw Valley Ski Hill is one of the best hills for beginners of all ages. Our beginner area now offers a conveyor lift to help you up the hill.

GROUP LESSONS
(1) 1 hour group lesson- $21
(3) 1 hour group lessons- $58
(5) 1 hour group lessons- $95
Price does not include lifts, rentals, or GST.

PRIVATE LESSONS
(1) 1 hour private lesson- $50/person
Maximum of 4 family/group members

Please pre-register for all ski and snowboard lesson programs by calling us at 780-698-2212. Payment is required at the time of registration and can be made over the phone with your credit card.

Cold Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions, Tawatinaw Valley may limit some facility operations. The decision to do so will be made on a daily basis according to the localized conditions at Tawatinaw Valley. The website and social media will be updated regarding operating status as available.
The Temperature Cutoff is “Feels Like -30°C” (including windchill) anytime throughout operating hours. Day passes, rentals, etc. cancelled due to cold weather closures will be rescheduled or refunded.
For Lesson Programs the Temperature Cutoff is “Feels Like -25°C” (including windchill), as many of our lessons are with young children. Lessons cancelled due to cold weather closures will be rescheduled.
